We realize that having students at home over summer break can cause an extra financial burden on low-income families, we want to help!
Our Summer Student Pantry is located at 707 Robins St. Suite 118 in Conway and will be open 8:15-11:30 a.m. and 1:15-4 p.m., Monday-Wednesday; it is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 26, 2019.
Students must be present to receive assistance with the Student Pantry. They will complete the agency application with the assistance of our staff and volunteers; they are not required to bring anything with them. There is a section on the application that asks for the household income; however, if the student does not know this, they will not be denied. This service is provided through community donations.
The students will be allowed to select their items with guidance from our staff and volunteers. This entire process is designed to empower the student, teach them valuable social skills and most importantly to let them know they are loved and supported by their community.
Students may visit our pantry during summer break every two weeks and receive 14 breakfast items, 14 lunch items, and 28 snacks while supplies last.
If you know of a student that needs food assistance this summer please send them our way so we can help to ease their burden.
