INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNT
Individual Development Account Program (IDA) – This program is a matched savings account that encourages eligible clients to save money and gain assets. Clients can save for a first home, home repairs, secondary education, job training or start a small business.
To be eligible your household must be at 125% of the Federal Poverty line set by the Department of Human Services. You must have a child 18 or younger living in the home. Applicants will be enrolled in the program for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 3 years. Participants commit to saving at least $27.79 per month. Once applicants have been enrolled for 6 months and have saved $667 CAPCA will match up to $2,000 per person or $4,000 per household!
