The food pantries are funded by donations from individuals, civic groups and local businesses.  They depend largely on the collection of food from these local organizations.  Services are only available depending on food availability.  Nutritious recipes are included in each box of food. Recipes are in English and Spanish. The Food Pantry in Faulkner County is funded in part by the United Way of Central Arkansas as well as through donations from our annual Postal Food Drive.  http://www.uwcark.org/



  1. Must have a referral from DHS or other social services provider
  2. Must reside in Faulkner, Cleburne, or White Counties
  3. Must be willing to apply for food stamps
  4. Must meet income guidelines
  5. Amount of food is based on number in household

The Commodities Program allows for distributions of government surplus canned and packaged foods at regular intervals.  Once a month, USDA food is given out to individuals and families that qualify in Faulkner County.  Each quarter a distribution occurs in Cleburne and White Counties.  This program is separate from the regular food pantry times and requirements.  Service is available as government surplus food is given to the agency.  Contact the local food pantry coordinator for details on applying, 501-329-3891 ext. 2133.



 CAPCA distributes Holiday Food Boxes during the month of November in Cleburne County and during the month of December in Faulkner County.  Guidelines for the commodities program are followed.  Applications for Cleburne County are only accepted during the month of October and in Faulkner County during the month of November.
CAPCA provides commodity food as available as well as other items needed to make a holiday meal for your family.
