Responsible for the eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance for Head Start children. Serves as an advocate on behalf of parents, assisting to obtain needed services, schedule appointments and complete necessary forms. E.O.E
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- 6 months experience in programs demonstrating competence in working with families with lower socio-economic incomes.
- Must have or obtain a minimum of a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, family services, counseling, or a related field within 18 months of hire
- Computer literate
- Must pass background screenings
Salary: $10.00 per hour, currently budgeted for 10.5 months per year
Job Type: Full – time
Working Hours: M-F, 7:30am – 4:30pm when children are present at the center; 8:00am – 5:00pm when children are not present
