Attention LIHEAP Clients

Effective January 11, 2010
The Winter HEAP Regular Assistance Program has begun.


Applications will be taken in each county
This will be for gas, propane or electric only

Monday and Wednesday
8:30a.m. -11:30am
1:30p.m. - 4:00p.m.
Tuesday Mornings
8:30 a.m.-11:30a.m.

All information must be made available before any utility assistance can be provided

  1. Completed Application provided by CAPCA
  2. Copy of your most recent electric bill or statement from the landlord that utilities are included in the rent
  3. Proof of income for all household members 18 years or older
  4. If anyone has not worked the previous month that they apply for assistance, the household member must obtain a History of Claims from the Employment Security Division
  5. If anyone has worked the previous month they must provide all check stubs recieve in that month
  6. If anyone recieve any of the following they must provide proof of it:
    • SSI
    • SSA
    • VA
    • TEA
    • Utility assistance through housing/Printout form from the Unemployment Office if receiving unemployment
  7. If anyone is in college and not working then they must provide proof they are enrolled in college for the month in question.
  8. Proof or lack of Child Support

 Food Distribution


  Food Pantry Service

  • Provides emergency food to eligible persons.
  • Must have a referral from DHS or other social services provider
  • Must reside in Faulkner or Cleburne County
  • Must be willing to apply for food stamps
  • Must meet income guidelines
  • Amount of food is based on number in household
  • Available as government surplus food is given to the agency
  • Must meet income guidelines
  • Must provide social security number

  Faulkner County Hours 8:30-11:45 and 1:00-2:00/> Commodity distribution held on the first Thursday of the month at the Faulkner County Food Pantry
